Creating Executive Presence

January 17, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

During this full-day workshop 30 Branch Managers will be inspired to create a stronger executive presence that ties with their personal, corporate, consumer, and talent brand. Topics to be covered include the signals we send, productive conflict, and dress for success.

“Presence” is an elusive term. It means different things to different people. Here’s how Beth defines it:

It’s the ability to embrace challenging people and situations with strength, confidence, and control whether they’re dressed up or dressed down … and they’re wonderful to be around.  It’s how they show up … to their team, their peers, their members, their organization, and their communities.

Module 1: Trust the Power that Fuels Presence, Unlocks Relationships & Drives Results

Trust is the key that unlocks and secures every relationship. It is essential to positive outcomes and results. By it we build effective relationships that generate income, choose right over easy, and bring the heart into our business.

Yet, most people don’t trust themselves, and therefore, show up powerless – lacking confidence, comfort and enthusiasm; doubting and dreading situations – instead of powerfully embracing the moment. When we don’t trust ourselves, our team and those we interact with certainly won’t trust us.

Module 2: Effective Communication: The Power that Builds Presence

When stakes are high, emotions heat up, and our opinions differ we often open our mouth to speak and don’t do so well. During this module participants will learn skills to invite others to share their perspective in a positive way that builds presence by opening dialogue and improving relationships, respect, and outcomes. Influential leaders use these communication skills to make smart decisions based on facts, not feelings, that result in increased cooperation and commitment.

Module 3:  Resilience the Power that Maintains Presence in Crisis

When something goes wrong, do you tend to bounce back or fall apart? Resilient leaders harness their inner strength and rebound from setbacks or challenges. Through courage and confidence, they see past their present struggles to future possibilities, find greater fulfillment in life, and better handle stress.

Our current work culture reflects the increasing complexity and demands faced by businesses globally. We often find ourselves in a chaotic, frenzied work environment. This is not healthy for the employee, the team, or the organization. While we cannot control other people’s reaction to stress, we can control your own responses. During this module, participants will learn to develop resiliency, and face their challenges with courage and confidence.
